Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. To see quotes, the tool needs gender, date of birth, general health status, tobacco use, coverage amount and term length—six data points that are enough for carriers to quote. Your personal details like name, address and medical history are collected only when you proceed to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are what each carrier would charge for the health tier you picked. After underwriting, the carrier sets your actual premium and may confirm, improve or adjust the health class. This site makes no offer and gives no guarantee about price or coverage.

What happens when I click Apply?

You provide your name and the application is built from the exact rate you selected, then moves to the carriers' encrypted application system. It can be paused and resumed later, and you sign online. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), manages the process.

Will I need a medical exam?

The answer depends on the carrier, the amount and your responses. Some carriers offer instant decisions to eligible applicants; each quote shows whether that carrier requires an exam, might require one or has no exam needed.

Is a longer term better?

Pick a term that covers years when income would be critical—a mortgage to pay, children to raise, a business debt. Longer terms have higher monthly payments but lock in lower rates for more years. You can compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options directly.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool doesn't ask for contact information, we don't sell or share data, and tracking has no cookies involved. The privacy page lists everything we collect and which third parties touch it.
